During an interview with Fox News' Brian Kilmeade on Friday night's broadcast of "The Ingraham Angle," U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., lambasted the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other federal health agencies.
RON JOHNSON, U.S. SENATOR: The public's trust in our government health authorities is eroding, which is a true shame. If there's one component of government you'd like to have faith in other than the Defense Department, it's the federal health authorities — and they've lost the public's trust.
Because they're incomprehensible. They're flip-flopping on topics, whether it's masks or the environment, and they're not supporting up their claims with science.
Today, I sent a letter to the CDC. To justify the new mask mandate, they shared this slide presentation. That PowerPoint deck has no statistics to back it up. So we're asking for information, and I'm not holding my breath.
